Yes, the famous Pavones Point is only about 15 minutes away, but even closer at just a couple of minutes down the dirt road is Pilon Main Point. Pavones Point’s lesser known rival. Here you will be able to surf a wave very similar to the Pavones Point wave, but there are also two additional points for those wanting a bit smaller and slower surf. Just a few hundred meters apart are “Middles Point” and “Leftovers” point also know as “Beginners Bay”. The waves at Middles and Leftovers are ideal for long boarders or Hydro Foil surfers, but they can still be a lot of fun for short boarders on bigger days. There are also three very good restaurants and two grocery stores just at the bottom of the hill, so you will have a place to eat if you don’t feel like cooking…

There is now a lot of paved road coming into Pavones, so your ride into town will be a lot more pleasurable. There are already future plans for the entire road into town to be paved.
